Measure the route, not only the room

A sofa can fit its final position and still fail at the lift, landing or doorway. Sketch the full delivery route, noting the smallest opening and changes of direction. Keep the furniture supplier’s packaged dimensions next to the assembled dimensions. Photographs help a delivery team understand an awkward corner, but they are not a substitute for measured clearance.
